not true to color
the color I received is a darker gray than the example in the photo. I wanted lighter gray

Poor workmanship and quality control.
While the tag stated the length I ordered the actual length was way longer than what is should have been. Naturally you have to wash them first as the name is shrink to fit but even after washing them a couple of times, they were still way off. Now I have to pay to get them Taylored. I have bought 501 shrink to fit for over 50 years and this was the worst example or workmanship.

Best fit
Just what I was looking for. It's an art but worth the effort. I sized up 1 in the waist and 3 on the length. Best fit. Don't need the stretchy. This is just right.

Custom fit design
Finally real jeans. Ok so they require a different level of care and breaking in that probably no one cares to do in current times. But they become comfortable custom fit after little effort - wash alone , wear wet to conform to your body a few times

Shrink to fit Levi's are my go to for 60 years.
The new ones are dark and therefore are my dress Levi's. The faded ones are my daily go to.

American Classic, but not a comfortable fit.
An American classic for sure! Not comfortable or easy to wear, you need to break these in. They are very stiff and tight around the waist at first. You also shouldn’t wash these at home if you want them to stay dark blue.
