Nice cords, but too tapered for an old fogey.
Hard to find corduroy Levi's these days, so it was a mostly positive purchase. I did find that the taper below the knee was excessive and uncomfortable. My old 514's are a better fit.
For young skinny folks.
Calf part of jeans too tight.
512 Levis too tight at the calfs for me.
Levis 512 cut is too tight at the calfs for me. Until now the 513's were at great fit but apparently they must have discontinued 513's. I do not have fat calfs and I find it hard to image the 512 cut to be comfortable for anyone. The 512 seem almost identical to the 513 except they are a bit tighter around the calf and just that tiny bit tighter made them unwearable for me. Your milage may vary.
Taper Cut Too Tight
I don't want to trash the product. It's just not right for me. The taper cut is just too tight around my calves and I had to return the pants.
