not what expected

I needed jacket for winter and based on reviews I did buy this one. First of all-this is not winter jacket, it is lightweight, good protection for rain and snow but in cold weather is is very, very cold! I am living in Chicago land area and I am wearing it whole this winter so if I am not wearing two sweaters under-thick ones I am freezing! Yes, this winter is very windy and cold here but I bought this jacket for that kind of weather- to replace old, leather thick insulated jacket and I made unfortunately mistake...maybe it is good in fall weather and down to around 30 but that is it so I have to look for another winter jacket for next season! And this is not Artic parka as it says in description for sure!!!

Perfect Jacket for camping!

Purchased for my son who goes camping in all weather. He says it keeps him warm, with the fleece lining. It's superbly made by Levi and he loves the pockets!

Pretty nice mid-weight coat

Pretty nice coat for cool/cold weather. The back/hood area of the coat is sherpa lined while the arms are packed with polyester fill which is still warm enough. I like this coat since it is a mid-weight coat so layering is really nice with this jacket. For colder weather, you'd be good with an undershirt/sweater and this jacket. For cooler weather, this should be fine as well; maybe a little too warm. The cuffs are storm knit so definitely keeps out the wind/cold. What I really like about this coat are the multiple pockets; 6 front pockets and one interior pocket provide lots of storage options. Only real complaint about this jacket is that the torso is a bit wide at the bottom. The sleeves are pretty snug for an XL however the torso of the jacket is pretty wide making it look a little weird. The drawstring helps a little but I kind of wish the jacket could be a little slimmer fit.

good quality

This is a good quality coat. but just not too warm. I think it's good for around 50 degrees. if it's snowing, you might need a thinker coat. but love those pocket. very handy. and good looking.

Excellent Coat for Very Cold Weather

We've had this severe cold snap in the East this winter, so I ordered this coat in black for my 20 year old son. It's a very handsome coat that can be worn for dressy occasions or casual. He loves it. His favorite part is the fleece lining. It's very warm and toasty. Great buy. Now my husband wants one.
