Waiting for my backordered pants

My son loves the pants. But I ordered another pair when they were on sale before Christmas. supposedly they are on backorder. But I see they are back in stock at regular price, and have not heard anything about about my order. Do they just want me to order a pair at regular price? I think I should get them at the sale price.
