Undeserved high rating

I bought these based on reviews, however, there are two things about these shoes that are not great. One is the lack of significant arch support and the other thing is the soles are slick. I tried to take them outside and "rough" them up a bit by dragging them on my driveway but that didn't seem to help much. Maybe they will get better with more wear but don't like them much out of the box.
