I am never happy to receive a Levi’s product that does not have the name on the tab. Twice I have purchased online black 501’s and both pairs do not have the Levi’s name on the tab. I really don’t agree with this being a copyright issue. It to me feels like the product was labelled imperfect. I have only come across this issue in recent years. In store I would never buy a Levi’s product without the name on the red tab. It makes no sense to me that the odd pair of jeans show up without the name on the tab. It is annoying that I have two pairs of black 501 jeans I purchased on line in the last year that do not have the Levi’s name on the tab. If I were in store I would not buy them.

Even though I ordered the high waist, I did not care for it. And I failed to read the print and didn't realize these were button fly. Didn't care for that either. I ordered my regular size but the fit was not good, especially baggy in the seat.

Fit like a glove
I have several different cuts and styles of Levi’s, but these are by far my favourite. I have an athletic build, with a small waist and thicker thighs and butt, and these didn’t gap at the waist like so many other brands do. The leg is quite a bit slimmer on the calf than the ribcage straight leg, just an fyi.

Clean, crisp black
True jet black, even the stitching and pockets are jet black, which gives these jeans a crisp, sleek look. Fit as usual 501’s do.

Not a good pair but material is soft.
Super soft and seems comfy, but it only fit good in the waist and was too roomy in the hips but fine in the pant legs. the back pockets were sewn too far apart so it makes you look like you have a large, wide, flat behind. Maybe these were a defect pair because 501's are usually a flattering fit.
