What happened to the pockets?

These jeans fit well and are comfortable but what happened to the pockets? The front pockets are so shallow that my chapstick falls out!

Pretty good fit

Although these have a little too much stretch for me (59% cotton, 21% viscose, 18% polyester), the fit is pretty good and even after wearing for several days, they kept their shape. My normal size is 12/14, but I needed to size up because of recent weight gain. Bought a size 16 and very comfortable without being too baggy — 5’5 and (currently) 184 lbs. Because of the stretch I probably could’ve gone with my regular 14 but wouldn’t have been as comfortable.

Not the classic Classic Straight

I’ve bought Classic Straight jeans before and liked them enough to buy repeats. This time - a couple years after the last pair- I’m disappointed. I bought the exact same size as what I currently have and wear and found it much tighter in the legs and waist. I know they can stretch out with use, so that bothers me less than the fact that the front pockets are now substantially smaller than they once were. I can’t get my whole hand in one. Worse, the keys I have to carry around for work barely fit in one, which means I’ve already had to catch them when they fell out once and I’ve only had them a week. I don’t need to lose my keys because of “fashion.” I’ve already grieved the loss of my beloved 505s (why, Levi’s???). I don’t want to be deprived of my other go-to Levi’s option. But there it is.

Good all day jean

I like the fit. Very stylish straight legged jean. Look good with blazers. Just enough stretch to be comfortably all day. I did notice a flaw in the fabric, but the return window unfortunately closed.
