Cheap Fabric, Frumpy Fit

I thought the pattern on this dress was cute in the pictures, but the fabric is very cheap. The reverse of the fabric is white and you can see that through the weave, as well as inside the collar when it's on. Why not just print the fabric on both sides? It's not a double layer, it's just literally the reverse of the fabric! The drape on me was frumpy, the waist was lower than I expected and the pockets on the sides kind of poufed out and added bulk where it wasn't needed.
