Sadly disappointed

I was so looking forward to receiving this quilt. It is beautiful but WAY TOO SMALL! It's supposed to be 106 x 92, but I measured it and it's only 100 x 90. A king-sized bed is 75" wide and my mattress is 14" thick. I should have done the math before ordering it. It's a beautiful comforter and very soft, but not going to fit my bed. If you have a queen bed, the king size will fit nicely. I'll be returning this.

Perfect Waffle Texture Quilt

I bought this Levtex Mills Waffle Textured 3 pc quilt in 2 colors in order to decide what coordinated best. First, the quilt itself is a very generous size. Next, its weight is perfectly Goldilocks - not too light, not too heavy. I think it's a great 3 season quilt. Finally, the texture is deep on the top side with not a ton of 'weaving stitch' for fingernails or pet claws to snag. The underside is a different pattern - an inch wide line stitch and I have tried to capture the contrast in one of the attached photos. Very clever and can be reversible! Regarding the 2 colors: 1) Gray - this is the one I chose to keep. The gray is a dove gray and the interior of the 'waffle' is lighter like an antique white. So it gives just the most subtle checker pattern. The reverse side is the line stitch and the dove gray is smooth and looks good against my khaki upholstered headboard. 2) Cream - this is a beautiful color but too bright for what I was going for. It's slightly 'off-white' and I was expecting more 'ivory' or 'antique white'. In all, a great quilt set so far.

Smell

I received the comforter set for Christmas. I washed it before trying to put in on the bed, but the smell is horrible! I am returning it!
