I am confused about this pillow

The pillow itself is adorable. I bought it as a gift for a toddler who had a space themed birthday party this year. The pillow came in a wrapper with a warning that it should not be used by children or babies and should not be put on a bed. The picture online shows it ON A CHILD'S BED. With that warning, I decided to return it, but I probably would have kept it if it was for my own child.
