Perfect size ultra-wide, great ports
Excellent monitor. I use this for work and 38inch is the perfect size ultrawide, I found the 45-49 inch monitors to be too large and the 27 inch to be too small. This monitor has the best set of port options I have seen and a very simple setup. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an in-home or in-office monitor setup, I like it much better than my previous dual screens, especially when paired with Micrsoft Powertoys Fancy zones to create as many custom multi-screen setups as I want.

Perfect monitor for work and play!
I purchased this monitor because I wanted the best all-around display for productivity on my work-supplied macbook and gaming on my personal pc both at the same desk with the same peripherals. hdr is great, the size and resolution are amazing coming from a standard 1440p 21:9 34" alienware, the built in kvm works perfectly. for the price I would expect that but still! I chose this over an oled of similar caliber because I did not want to deal with pixel-refresh or burn in and this satisfies my needs very, very well. the only shortcoming is that the local dimming zones are fairly large and there arent very many of them, but its not noticable 90% of the time and the trade offs are well worth it tho imo. if it had more, smaller zones it would be THE perfect display. as it is I still love it and expect to use it for years and years as I did with my alienware before it.

This IPS ultra-wide may not have the sharpest image, or the fastest refresh rate. But the IPS provides great text clarity compared to OLED and a higher refresh rate than other IPS ultra-sharp displays making this a great multi-purpose monitor for work and play.

my second curved IPS panel monitor from LG
This is my second curved monitor from LG (had a 34 inch curve. Totally love it. The higher refresh rate helps. Words are sharper and moving graphics are smooth when running 4k movies/ videos. Yet to try how it fairs for a 8k movie.
