This is such a nice product for anxiety or just to calm yourself and unwind after a long day. I have never seen a product quite like this one. It is easy to learn how to use. I like that you can layer the colors as well. I’d highly recommend adding this to your creative toolbox!

Relaxing coloring!
Okay wow, this was way better than I thought it was going to be. I got it because it was an out of the box technique Ive never done before and seemed interesting. IT IS SO MUCH FUN! You’re tapping away dots to color in the picture which is mindless and relaxing. Kind of helps get some anger out too depending on how hard you tap haha. Jokes aside, I’m probably going to through this quickly. The only thing that was a bummer is the color options. I wish more came in a pack. Like a rainbow variety. I had to color my whale purple and green because there was no blue. I will most likely get the other packs so I can have more colors. These are awesome!

Fun, stress free, colorful art for all ages!
I received this product for free from Lifelines and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I am an artsy person but I’ve been in a funk for some time. I was excited to try this new FlowArt for some easy relaxing stress-free art time. This art set is different than any I’ve tried in the past. It comes with markers that can be switched between to shift the colors after you’ve laid them down. The book had a nice plastic front cover, hearty cardboard backing that attached the markers, and a nice instruction page that describes how the markers can change when layered. The book is well designed and easy to use. Comfortable on a table or lap. The pages are made of nice paper that doesn’t easily rip or tear. The markers work well and don’t get messy even when layering. I really liked how easy it was to use and how easy it was to pickup and put down. Often times we feel we have to finish anything we start, in this book, I use it when necessary as a therapeutic art. I have already purchased another variety to try next! I would’ve loved this as a kid but I really enjoy it as an adult too!

Loved this art activity book!
This is such a fun and relaxing activity, the product is just as described and I love that I can store the markers behind the notebook and that it has a clip to attach to. The performance on the markers is really good too it was fun using the changing color ink to change the colors as the instructions provided. Overall I found it to be a nice activity to get creative with colors and the pogo-dot are was something new for me that is cool to play around with.

More tedious than regular coloring
I wanted to love this Lifelines FlowArt Pogo-Dot coloring book, but sadly, it isn't for me. I reach for a coloring book when I want to zen out in a calming, mindless, creative outlet for my self-expression. This falls very short of that mark. I love the look of pointillism, but this takes away the precision but still demands much more tedious, slow repetition than regular coloring. It's extremely hard to get near the lines without going over them, and results in uneven spottiness that is neither aesthetically pleasing nor soothing to create. I'm also not a fan of the markers themselves. The color-changing aspect seemed very interesting, but in reality, it's more of a novelty. The colors are very limited. I like being able to apply the "magic" pen to create a change, but honestly it would be more useful just to have a greater variety of colors, since it's hard to keep track of which color turns to what when the magic marker is applied. Having to swap out cartridges into the larger marker base is also unnecessary and cumbersome. Without it they're a little too skinny to be comfortably held, but I'd rather do that than switch them out every time. The larger base is too large for my grip. The only benefit is that it offers a little bit of springiness to bounce back each time you dab the marker, reducing a little of the repetitive strain. Overall, I find this takes a soothing activity and makes it stressful. The end result isn't as displayable, and the markers have limited applications outside of the coloring book. This is a novelty that I would not purchase again.

Dots galore
Perfect size for traveling when you want something other than staring at a screen for hours. It’s a pretty sturdy book and pages are thick enough to not have the ink bleed through. Over all I have mix feelings on the markers, it’s fun because it’s just like wow simple dots can make such amazing art , but also it’s a little hard to make it look “perfect” when you can’t tell where the dots are going to land on the paper . Over all it’s okay if you need a distraction, I didn’t feel any less calmer using it. I’m a very crafty person and I have a lot of patience for these things like this but this isn’t something I would spend hours on, but it is nice to kill a little time on like if I’m in a waiting room Or just bored .

Not good... Don't buy if you like perfection
The design of the booklet is great in theory. However the execution isn't great. Maybe it's more me than the activity itself, but I couldn't get the markers to properly stamp down. The reason this is an issue is because I end up over saturating some places and not enough in others. It was very frustrating to try to get a good result. Also some of the markers will smear even after drying; there's almost like a powder that forms that will smudge all over.
