Gorgeous boot, but dug into the back of my knees

The Stratford Wide Calf High Shaft boot is beautiful to look at, fits well on my foot and the wide shaft does accommodate my calf. The faux leather is fine, it's actually nice not to have to worry about getting the boot wet. And the heel is the perfect height. The problem I ran into with these boots is that the top of the boot dug into the back of my knee/where the thigh connects to the knee. I am quite plump there :) I had to put large bandages on the back of my thighs/knees to prevent injury. I don't think a taller woman, or a woman with slimmer thighs/knees would have this problem. But still, that means I'll probably have to wrap a bandage around my knee whenever I want to wear these boots, which kind of limits my fashion options.

Short lady

They are too high on my leg, and fit funny around the ankle. I typically have good luck with lifestride but this one is a waste of money for me. This wont keep me from buying but no more taller boots.

No, no ,no

First calf width was ok for me, but that could not make up for the overall look of the material. I mean the boots were priced low, I was just hoping for a not so low quality look. Returning.

Very comfortable and attractive
