Nice shoe but front strap was too tight

These have a comfortable footbed, padded straps. but the front strap for me was too tight. I know after a night of walking or dancing I would be in trouble. I am a medium width. I did order the wide to see if that will work for a black tie wedding. I want a strappy look but can't wear over a 2.5 inch heel. We shall see
