Unimpressed by the silk quality

I had to double check the label that it was 100% mulberry silk because it felt cheap I was almost certain there was some sort of synthetic blend. This top took two refills of my steamer to get it looking still wrinkled, a total of 30 minutes wasted on trying to get the wrinkles out. I was steaming my midi-length silk skirt (that feels like a much higher grade silk) as well, and that skirt took me under 60 seconds to steam, the wrinkles came out instantly. I’m convinced they used the lowest grade of silk for this top. The stitches have minor puckering as well which cheapens its look. The only reason I’m not rating it lower is because the fit and the overall design of the top is so effortlessly chic and beautiful. The material was just disappointing as I’ve become a frequent customer of LilySilk and I find the quality/grades of their silk vary greatly from product-to-product. I’d say it’s a 50/50 chance at this point as to whether you’ll be impressed or disappointed by the silk grade once you open your package after delivery.
