Nice blanket but frustrating packaging
The blanket is very soft and of great quality. The plush giraffe is cute and the color is a nice soft beige/oatmeal color. I am happy with the blanket, no complaints. The packaging was the main pain point. For whatever reason, the manufacturer decided to add a million plastic fasteners to attach random tags and keep the blanket folded in shape. I spent 20+ minutes cutting the plastic fasteners and fishing them out of the blanket. Some of them were so embedded in the plush fabric that I had to rip the threads to get them out. I hope I got all of them since they could potentially scratch the baby if left embedded in the blanket. I am attaching a photo of all the plastic fasteners that came out of this blanket. I don't understand why they had to use so many. The blanket is lovely and I don't regret buying it. I would even consider getting it as a gift. But I hope the manufacturer starts using less plastic fasteners going forward, since they're unnecessary and only cause frustration.
