Not Particularly Engaging

I bought this for a three year old and it is too simple for more than one-off engagement. For example, the number pad is all one surface and so there's no differentiation when you press the numbers. I wish it also had a display screen to practice reading different numbers. The coin dispenser does not make much sense as you have to open the money drawer, put the coins in a special section, and then when you close the drawer, the coins dispense. You can't just insert the coins into the outside of the drawer like you can with the paper bills. Too be honest, I wish I'd bought a different product.

Very realistic

We bought this for our little boys 2nd Birthday last week, he loves pretending to scan all his toys and listening to the beeping sounds on the scanner and chip and pin pad. My 8 year old girl loves it equally as much as it is so realistic to play with, she particularly likes the coin change function

Such Fun!

My little tikes have so much fun with this check out & playing shop! They really like the scanner & beeping noise, its very realistic. The pop out cash register is also great fun as they get to count the play money in & out (they charge a lot for an apple but I don't mind!!) Some good props are included & I add real food boxes/cartons/jars to create a whole shop which keeps them happily occupied for ages. All in all, a great toy for a range of ages!

This is a very cute toy. It's much better than the other Registers but mine was missing the debit card. I've emailed the company and hope for a replacement.

my son and his cousins love playing with this!

They play with it and even make the adults have a turn. Its really been fin for everyone. The little tykes checkout stand is so realistic! they take turns being the cashier, collect items around the house and use the fruit and vegetables that come with it. they scan everything with the beeping scanner.....pay for it with the included money or credit card and then request a bag before they leave the "store"! Its really cute to watch. the grocery screen lights up and can be changed to different kinds of stores and the credit card reader has lots of lights and sounds. They really like the cash drawer! they never get tired of playing with it.
