Bought this on deal. Not any better that the one I have. Smaller ear pads and the button on side are to use.. went back to my old ones.

Much more has to be improved.
The headphones were bought with the intention to travel and have the quit enjoyable movie along the way, but unfortunately this is not the case. The ANC function on them barely works, and almost all surrounding sounds are being passed through. Wearing them for 30 minutes will hurt your ears and is not easy and comfortable solution. I bought them with the hopes that it will be the same great quality as the other JBL product that I have (Charge 4 speaker), but appeared to be completely opposite way. I could only see them to work for a child, definitely not the adults.

Not easy to use
They seem to work fine but the “manual” is very difficult to understand. I have no idea which button controls what. I figured out the volume but I have no idea how to answer a call so they aren’t terribly helpful when I try to use them for work. Which is the whole reason I bought them. My corded headset broke and I thought maybe I could replace them with this and it just isn’t wirking

Not so good for noise
Bought these to block out noise didnt work for that . But nice pair of headphones. And the sound put out is great.

We appreciate your feedback. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature in JBL headphones does not completely block all sound and does not function as a hearing protection device. They are designed to diminish day-to-day ambient sounds, enhancing your audio enjoyment.
Stupid "Smart" Features
The headphones have pretty good sound quality, and the noise canceling works okay as well. The major problem is the stupid "smart" features where it pauses your audio if it thinks you took the headphones off. ITS SO BAD! It stops playing if you even slightly bump or adjust the headphones at all. Its so annoying.

This model lasted me almost a decade
I had a pair of JBLs that I got 8 years ago (LIVE400BT) that finally, fully gave out on the day these ones arrived they work the exact same, just updated to fit today’s tech standards (usb-C plugin I see you). I have tried other headphones but I always come back. 10/10 wanna buy in more colors, especially red ones to replace the ones I wore to death 🩷🩷🩷
