Will contact Customer Service as the figurine was received outside original Lladro packaging; intended as gift and now I am not sure I received an authentic Lladro porcelain or a counterfeit... looks like it was pulled from a liquidation lot shelf. Not satisfied.

I gave this to my wife for her first Mother's Day (although I chose it from a list she prepared). She's a blonde and the light hair on this figurine could be considered either blonde or light brown, as opposed to the darker brown on some of the other figurines. My wife likes the matte finish, but I would prefer it to be the traditional glossy Lladro finish.

I ordered this for a family member's birthday. She was close to delivering her baby girl at the time and It thought it would be a fitting give for a first time mother. It was beautiful The one thing I must say is that while the description does indicate that it has a high gloss finish (typical to the traditional Lladro dolls I've seen), the finish on this one is more of a matte. Still beautiful but just wanted to mention that in case it matters to someone. The figurine is quite tall but stands so beautiful on any mantle. Quite lovely.

I received this Lladro as a birthday gift following the birth of my daughter. It is absolutely beautiful and truly captures those special moments when a mother holds her baby. A very tender embrace. The porcelain figurine is described as high gloss, but it's more of a matte finish than a high gloss. The details on the face of the mother and baby are incredible. This is a gift any new mother would be lucky to receive.
