Sculpture of the mythical Hindu character hanuman made in matte porcelain and golden luster. Hanuman, the monkey god and faithful companion, together with rama, sita and lakshman make up the four characters of rama darbar, which represents the ideal of the happy family. Hanuman is shown wearing a helmet, denoting his divine origin, in a posture of adoration towards rama. Handcrafted in matte white porcelain, golden luster was chosen for the decoration, standing out against the white background and enhancing the sculptural and ornamental work of the piece.
