Not air tight

These are absolutely not air tight. Not sure about the reviews that are saying they are. I purchased these for rice, flour, dehydrated things. I will still have to put stuff in a bag inside of them. Turn it upside down or keep it straight up give it a little squeeze by your ear feel and hear the air coming out. Also seals are not that great. I feel small bugs could definitely get in.

Perfect for storing medium sized portions of food

These containers are the perfect size for many medium sized boxed crackers and foodstuffs I buy. Because they have narrower and taller dimensions they don't take up too much real estate in the pantry. Really good at keeping food from getting stale.

Good product

I've purchased this brand of containers for many years and found them to be the best in overall storage, non-leakage and wearability. I wash these on the middle rack in the dishwasher as well

Best air-tight seal

I have been buying Lock n Lock since Consumer Reports recommended them in the late 00s. They are way better than any knock off brand I've tried. Sometimes they are hard to lock but I would rather have that problem than ones that don't seal. I just wished they had the glass version of their containers for the pantry.

Perfect for pasta

Love these. Perfect size to hold pasta. Several years ago, we had a moth infestation, and I did a lot of research about best containers to keep items moth-proof. These were highly recommended, and I've used them ever since without a return of moths.
