Very beautiful dishes. The plates are a little small and the cups are a little small. But for that price you can turn a blind eye to everything.

Rough texture

The texture of the print is not smooth, it is rough, which makes me think that it might stain when there is a stew or soup in the bowl, and it will be hard to clean or even will be streaked if cleaned. I returned it.

Hi Hope, Thank you for your recent feedback on the Lorren Home Trends Bolla 57 Piece Dinnerware Set Service for 8. There is a glaze applied to the porcelain---the decal and the porcelain are baked at a very high temperature to seal the glaze, preventing any "staining" or "streaking". The decal has a matte finish effect, but nothing that would lead to staining from soups or stews. We apologize for the misunderstanding.
