Amazing Read!

4 ⭐️ I enjoyed this book but didn't like the ending, not because it was a sad ending, but rather because I was expecting something different about STEM or their relationship. Levi and his love for cats! It was purrfect!!

Space and the Brain - - In love??

Who doesn't love a good science-sy enemies to lovers rom-com? Ali Hazelwood knocks it out of the park again with this one as she has done over and over again. This time, we get space mixed with brains, okay really the thought of sending astronauts into space with neuroscience, but still, rocket science right? The banter between the characters, the way that Hazelwood makes you believe that there is very clear and present sabotage that isnt there and the way you as the reader discover who falls first, and quite a bit harder, is what makes me love this book. Its clear how much Bee wants to hate Levi but cannot get past the things he does and how it starts to melt her heart and pave a way to making a lasting impression. Levi on the other hand, never puts the wall up and leaves it where its always been, letting Bee have a call from the start. Do they make it to end game or does space get in the way??? Read to see!

textbook hazelwood

I don't know why I keep coming back to Ali Hazelwood books. At this point it's a bit of a love hate relationship. There are parts are really enjoy, the goofy characters and slapstick-ish silly situations they find themselves in but I also find myself annoyed by it at about the 75% point. This is textbook Hazelwood so if you enjoyed any of her other books or novellas this is more of the same with slightly different jobs, neurosis, and hair colors. Mostly a fun ride but it did fall a part a little at the end for me and started to get a little repetitive.

Fun STEM Romance with Spice

Love On the Brain By: Ali Hazelwood Rating: 3 ⭐️ Spice: 3 🌶️ Pages: 350 I have been thoroughly enjoying diving into these STEM themed love stories. If it weren’t for the fact that I was very VERY bad at math in school I would possibly be considering a career change. Love on the Brain is a three star STEM themed romance with some spice. It follows the story of Marie Curie obsessed scientists, Bee, and her enemy-turned-lover, tall dark & grumpy, lab partner Levi. There college rivalry turns heated when they are paired up to work on a special neuro-connected helmet for NASA astronauts. Meanwhile, in the shadows of social media, Bee works to tackle the rampant oppression & injustices in STEM. With each new plot twist Bees personal, romantic, & professional life are put to the test. This three star read is a great add to any Ali Hazelwood collection. The Love Hypothesis is still my favorite but this is a runner up I would add to your TBR. What do you think? Have you read it? Will you read it?

Smart and Smoldering

If you've read anything by Ali Hazelwood you will know that she writes strong female characters that are complimented by equally strong male characters whom are based (mostly) in the world of science. I always find her books delightful; she is an author I will read purely because she wrote the book! In Love on the Brain, Bee is the main female character and Levi, the main male character. They have history from their time at university and have been reunited at NASA to develop a helmet for astronauts . Beyond the strong characters she crafts, what I love about Ali Hazelwood's writing is you never know how she's going to tie things together. Love on the Brain ended up being a slow burn, much like the romance within the book. If you're looking for a romance to read with smart characters, lush details, and a great plot that smolders to an excellent finish, Love on the Brain, is for you. Enjoy!

Absolutely LOVED

I bought this a month ago and it was sitting on my shelf forever and when I finally had time to pick a book up I grabbed this one. Boy when I tell I was hooked! I couldn’t put it down, I was rooting for the main character the entire time. As soon as I finished this book, I immediately went to look up the author to buy more of her books.
