Versatile, a nice balance of casual and stylish

First, I was surprised as I had made an error reading the description on the site. I thought the whole shirt was corduroy, not just the collar. This is NOT a complaint. When the shirt arrived, I rather liked the offset textures. The weight of the shirt is great. It feel like a hug without feeling heavy. I will say for such a medium weight shirt, it's remarkably warm. The shirt does have a 'working class' appeal and charm, but it's cut and mixed fabrics elevate it. One could wear it to a industry or club event, or a meet-the-parents, or brunch just depending on pairing and styling. I ordered one of these shirts initially. I later purchased another in a different color to have two options.
