Based on the previous review, I sized up to 28" from my usual 27" - but I didn't need to. The jeans are wearable, but loose. I'm planning to order another pair in my regular size. For reference, I'm not quite 5'6", about 130#, medium to slender build. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. The jeans will look terrific with turtleneck shirts, tucked in, and boots or booties. (Can you tell I'm looking forward to autumn?!?) I did have them hemmed - my days of wearing heels over 2" are in my rear view mirror.

Might be cute on someone, but not me
i would say, based on my other Lucky jeans (Ava skinny, Sundown (?)straight leg), that these fit small in the waist. i got a 29, which is the same size as my Avas, and the waist was too tight for comfort. The stove pipe jeans are a higher rise, so maybe that's the issue. Regardless, the straight leg straight down from the knee is not a flattering fit on me. Stretch is minimal. They're going back.

Great style...
Love the style. Purchased 2 pair in the same size but different colors (Esen & Flow). The dark denim was a great fit. I could not pull the zipper up in the light denim. So disappointed. I didn't expect exact fit but I did expect something close. Is this typical for Lucky Brand?
Not retro enough
They do not look like the picture, much tighter, and material is quite stretchy. I returned them
Better Than Expected
I love these jeans. Not sure why they are called "stovepipe" because they are not that wide. They hug from the waist down to butt then gently flare from thigh straight down. Hard to describe, but I love the way they fit. So much so that I came back to buy 2 more. I bought the dark wash-Esen, in the 27 waist which is what I normally wear. Also like that they aren't too spandex-y. Only slight con is there is just a small gap at the back waist. But fit so well every where else, I will just have my tailor take them in. I am 5'4", 122 lbs and wear a 4 in pants.
