Maybe my pair was defective?

I think my pair was defective. The left boot was narrower than the right, by fit and just looking at it. There was also something hard inside, felt like cardboard or something in the toe box between the lining and the leather. It was malformed on the left boot. Disappointed because I can’t exchange the boots for another pair and keep the great Black Friday price I paid. I love Lucky Brand boots and have several pairs. This was a real letdown, they are not all fantastic and well made.
