Too Poofy

This skirt is cute, but I feel like it's too trendy and I'm looking for something more timeless. I just wanted to try it on and found it's not for me. It was TTS and nice material that's not heavy. It's 100 cotton, so it will probably shrink some. I wish the waistband was wider to prevent the poofy around my hips.

Versatile and Simple

I received the skirt in both colors. I assumed because it says unlined that it was an elastic hem, but it is actually fully lined and the lining is shorter than the skirt so it pulls up the hem and makes the bubble effect. The skirt cotton fabric is light weight and the lining is almost sheer so it can be for Spring and Summer weather. Also, the waist is elastic and felt very comfortable. I am 5 feet 2 inches and it was just to my ankles in length.
