Cute design but boot shaft way too wide

The material these are made with is high quality, and the braided detail at the bottom is great. But, the boot shaft is way too wide if you have slim legs. If your legs are stick skinny, it would be way way way too wide. Also, not a fan of the hidden wedge heel inside. I thought I was buying flat boots.
