Ordered 30 inch inseem and the pants were way longer
The pants were not 30 inches at the inseam. I ordered another pair, a size up, and they were much shorter. It's too bad they were too long. Otherwise the fit was great. I went to a store to return and I was told I couldn't exchange them and get another pair for the discounted price I paid. Only a return was allowed.

Moth ball smell will not come out
Bought these jeans initially and there was a strong moth ball odor. Returned them and the second pair had same odor. Really liked the color so tried washing them. Washed them like 6X - a few times in the washer with standard laundry detergent; a few times with baking soda; a few times soaking them in a tub with woolite and baking soda - and the odor is still discernible. Can't return them now that they've been washed. As much as I'd love to rate them highly, I am suspicious of any company that puts its customers at risk with dangerous chemicals.

Love the Mid Rise Sweet Straight jean
I have been a loyal wearer of the Kut from the Kloth Catherine Boyfriend style jean since 2018. I decided to branch out and try a different style, and I can say that I like the fit of these jeans; they are very comfortable and not constraining at all. However, they are a bit larger than I expected, so in the future, I will order a size smaller. Additionally, the jeans were longer than I anticipated. I ordered a 35 Regular Fit, and at 5'10", I still need to roll them up. I considered shrinking them by washing them in warm water and using the dryer, but that didn't work. Also, the color in the picture was darker than the actual color of the jeans that arrived, so in the future, I will look for a darker dye option. If you typically wear a size 16 in Kut from the Kloth Catherine Boyfriend jeans, I recommend trying a size 33 or 34 in this style. The size 35 seems to correspond more with an 18 or larger in the Catherine Boyfriend jeans from Kut from the Kloth. For my future orders, I will try a size 34. If that is still too large, I'm lucky to have an outlet store nearby where I can make an exchange. These jeans can be dressed up or down, and they look great!
