Did love for me, came up a little higher on ankle then I prefer

Probably not

I like the look of the boots but they're not very comfortable. They sole is hard I'm going to get an insole to put in the bottom of the boots.I probably wouldn't buy this boot again. It cause to much to be uncomfortable. I own several other Lucky Brand booties that's very comfortable.
