Size charts wrong. Skirt is HUGE

Cuter in the picture. The skirt is gigantic and don't get it shipped. The box crushes the form of the skirt. While it does bounce back a bit, the skirt is just way to big. I'm usually a size 8 but ordered a 12 and it was about 1/2" to big. Either way you'll need a tiny waist for this to be flattering.

Beautiful and well made but not for everyone

This is a very nice dress, very well made. But not what I thought it would be. I thought it would be flowy and get wider when you spin or dance but it has many stiff layers that will keep it in the dress up the whole time. Even when you sit. There is also a stiff net stitched to the hem for keeping the shape of ruffles. The dress that was shipped to me had this net bent so ruffles were squared rather than rounded. The size is also tiny! I I'm usually 0 or 2. Ordered this dress in 2 and couldn't zip it at all. Also, I don't think it would work for short people. It looked odd falling below my knee.

Great Dress if Your Tiny!!

I know that most designer dresses run smaller than the average sizing so I ordered an 8 and a 10, thinking that the 10 would be good. Wrong.....got the zipper up but it was like a corset! Squashing my back together! His sizing is completely off! Such a beautifully made dress with pockets and crinolines, just what I love! Too bad that the companies sizing is so completely off! Do they just want skinny women fitting into their clothes? I usually take a 6 or an 8 in a dress. In a Zac Posen dress I just ordered, I got a 6 that fit like a glove. The fabric was a bit stretchy so that's always is a good thing! Get it together Mac Duggal and redo your sizing!! I'm ordering the 12 to see if I have a chance to fit into it! I would love to have this dress!

Runs quite small

Following the instructions on the site I ordered my normal size, somewhere between a 6 and an 8. When it arrived I tried on the 8 and it wasn't close to zipping. To quash my emotional breakdown my husband measured it against other dresses in my closet. It's 2 inches smaller than all my other 8's. It's very cute and well made so I'll be re-ordering the next size up.
