Beautiful, but patchy.
So I was very excited to try this lipstick. Its actually the first mac lipstick I have ever used. I got a huge deal on it, so I decided to try it. I received it fairly quick, and received a sample with my order of course. When I opened the box, I loved the packaging with the little troll on it. I have the shade "Midnight troll" which is a beautiful royal blue shade. The lipstick itself smells like vanilla. Upon applying, the formula is creamy and buildable. My issue with this lipstick is that its really patchy.It looks good on my outer lips, but on the inside of my lips, the formula won't stay. So when I make a "kiss face" you can see where the lipstick and my regular lips end, and i don't like it. It doesn't stick with saliva touching it.It stays for a while, but starts to fade. If the formula would stick to ALL of my lips, then I would give this lipstick a better rating. It just didn't stay, nor cover my entire lips. Its buildable, but patchy. I wish I could recommend, but the formula should be better. The shade is beautiful, and the packaging is awesome. It just doesn't apply well and doesn't stay.

Awesome Product!
This was my first MAC product I ever purchased (I got the orange one) and I was massively impressed! When it came in the mail it was very well packaged and the color itself was very flattering on me, I would definitely recommend this to a friend

Beautiful color!
I did not think this color would work with my NW 45 complexion. I was so wrong! This lipstick is a perfect example of why you should try the color out for yourself. It is bold but can be tamed with a soft gloss and liner. It enhances deeper skin tones without looking clownish. It is very wallet- friendly for the price. The product itself is pigmented. If you want a bolder in your face look several swipes will do the job. The lipstick formula is creamy. For those with dry or mature lips, you may want to use a light balm. The wear was about 4-5 hours. It left a light stain on my lips which is ok. It removes easily at the end of the day with makeup remover. If you've avoided this color because you thought it would not work try it. For the price listed, you may change your mind regarding this shade PROS: • Can be worn either with a light stroke or for a bold look several • Looks beautiful on any skin tone • Great price • CONS: • None.
