special place in my heart
5 years ago, i was at my local department store's mac counter looking for my first ever mac product. i was obsessed with highlighters and wanted the iconic soft and gentle , however they were out of stock plus the worker mentioned that could pull a little unnatural on my fair skin due to its peachy tones. so as a compromise, she introduced me to this beautiful palette. you get three stunning pinky toned shades for the price of one which allows newcomers to experiment and mix shades. the formula is hands down the most BUTTERY CREAMY powder i've ever used, i easily hit pan within one year after purchase. maybe i am being a little nostalgic here, but it truly is a great palette. < 3

Perfect shades
I have had this palette for a little while and I really like it. Ill start off with the negatives. Sometimes this product can be a little powdery and there is a little fallout. On the other hand, the positives. I love the way this product looks on the skin. Normally I hate when highlighter looks like highlighter but I don't have that problem with this. he shimmer shades are not "2016" style intense, which I very much like. I have a warm undertone and the peachy shades are the best blush shades for my skin tone and they do really look good.

Intensive Glow
This palette contains three dark peachy coloured highlighter shades which have a creamy powder texture that gives the highlighters intense colour payoff when applied. They are super pigmented and hold well thanks to the creamy formula so they also make great eyeshadows too with minimal fallout. Because this palette is so intense I don't recommend it for everyday use. It's more for night time and events. I only need to sweep my brush lightly over a shade for it to give me intense glow so I can imagine this palette will last for quite a while. It's so worth the investment.

Highlighting perfection is here with M.A.C Cosmetics Hyper Real Glow Palette - Flash + Awe. This palette contains 3 highlighting shades in a soft and creamy formula with luminous payoff. Effortlessly blendable and with minimal fallout, these highlight hues will have you falling fast and hard. it is bronzer and highlighter all in one. it is a great shade range for summers and gives a great flash of color to my skin. the highlighters are all so pigmented and little goes a long way. three very useful colors on my skin, can't stop using it since I got this pallette, also lasts for long time

The glow is real
For highlighter beginners, this is a classic tri-shade palette to start with. Although it has been many years, I still own and use this palette to this day. The packaging is made of heavy duty smooth matte black material with a magnetic enclosure, and the lettering on the front is a foiled metallic design. A nice sized mirror is embedded but the palette otherwise does not come with a brush. The shades inside are covered by a plastic sheet with a label of each shade. I really wish this was printed on the back of the palette itself, which is completely blank, because once you lose this sheet and unless you have memorised the shades by name, there is no other way to recall what the shades names are. I own the palette with rose gold lettering called Flash + Awe and is probably most suitable for fair, light, and medium-to-light skin tones. The first shade is called "Flash + Awe", a bright icy white shade. The second shade is called "Rosy Glow", a silvery pink shade. The last shade is called "Light of the Party" and is a rose gold with a shift duo-chrome effect. This last shade is, in my opinion, a good blush topper. If you have medium-to-deep or a deeper skin tone, you are better off purchasing and using the palette with the gold lettering called Get It Glowin'. The shades in that palette are gold, champagne, and bronze shades. While this is a highlighting palette, these shades can also be used on eyelids as a silvery eyeshadow. My personal verdict: the glow is real. The powders are really soft and they really brighten my face. The volume of the glow is easily buildable. The quantity in the pans is also generous and has lasted me for several years.

lovely colours
Beautiful shades! However, it would be beneficial if there was a more detailed description of the product - i.e. instruction re the usage, tips re how to blend the colours, tips re which colour to apply on which part of the face , etc.. I would want to see such a description either here online, or as a print out in the box.
