I purchased this item as a birthday gift for a friend and she loved it.
Not as it seems
I bought this specifically for the red color. The red color looks nothing like the pictures it is a large chunk bronze glitter. I was expecting a red pigment as in the photos. Extremely disappointed. Small portions, not as heavily pigmented as the normal full size products, but generally the photos are extremely misleading.

Highlighting Subtle Shine
This kit was perplexing to me at first, but in truth, it is very versatile. Each of the vials contains a subtle shade of golden/bronze loose powder pigment. One vial is definitely more glittery and more theatrical or dramatic depending on how you would use it. For all of them, you could put a little product in a cap and add a tiny drop of water and use as a liner or I like to use them on the upper lid over shadow to highlight the middle of the lid. I also used the lightest color under my brows with the faintest shimmer. Since I am older and prefer a classic look, I have found many ways to use this kit in an elegant manner. It is especially lovely to work with these pigments as you create a special look for a holiday event.....they are as subtle or as bold as you want them to be! One small point that I'd like to make is that after you unscrew the cap, the lids on the vials are difficult to get off, and if you are not careful in gently tapping out the loose powder, you are in danger of wasting it or dropping it on the floor. Now that you know this, be careful, and this wouldn't stop me from buying a second set. The holiday packaging is attractive and at the promo price, I think this kit is a great value!

I love these pigments, although the kits were smaller than I expected. I used the Bronze and Stardream pigment to create the shiny glowing cheeks effect. So this kit served the purpose I bought it for.

Three colours...
Reviced my nutcracker pigments today, lovely packaging but I was a little bit disappointed as the red was not what I was expecting. Looks nothing like the picture, it's glitter not pigment. Not overal happy but the other colours are nice and creamy.
