Review of Mac prep

This is a sun protection cream- SPF 50. I put on everyday before makeup for 10 years and people say I look younger than 64. I believe it’s this product.

Pricey but Works Well!

I like this primer. I lay a facial SPF underneath it with matching filters/ingredient base because the tube is very small (Super Goop Unseen SPF is what I layer underneath). If you were to apply this primer in adequate amounts for the full SPF the tube would run out very quickly, which is why I just layer a different SPF underneath it. It does seem to grip my makeup onto my skin well and gives it a more smooth finish. The smell is like an SPF lotion, but a little less in your face. The one thing I wish is that it come in a larger tube for the price.

A New Staple in My Routine

I’ve been looking for a primer or setting spray with SPF without much luck until I stumbled upon this product. I use it as my last step before applying makeup. It absorbs well - no white cast like some sunscreens leave behind. I really like that it’s SPF 50 and that it’s also a primer to help with makeup application and staying power. I saw that some people complained about the size, but a little goes a long way and I use this after my usual morning moisturizing routine, so I don’t need much. I highly recommend. It’s a great product to use with makeup and gives the added bonus of sun protection.

BRING BACK OLD FORMULA

What has to happen for MAC to listen to its OG customers?! This formula is terrible. The old formula was the HG of primers for us oily girls. If this formula has to stay, fine, just add the other primer back into rotation - literally still waiting for this to come back. I haven't found a replacement in all these years. BRING IT BACK!!!
