Kinda Sexy actually is...

I am really happy with all of the lip duos that I have purchased from MAC. Last year, I started with Mehr lipstick and Soar pencil. Mehr is a nude that packs a punch. It goes very well with all sorts of other shades, so I can use it without having to plan much. I felt like a change of pace, so this year I bought Kinda Sexy and Spice. I am really, really pleased with all aspects. The color is true to how it looks online- it reads the same way on the lips. The coverage is great, it lasts a long time. Also, can easily combine with all sorts of other colors. A great value, a great look.

Nice color but gummy

Lipstick is very gummy, and thick and the lip liner feathers....both are very nice colors....

Horridly Dry

I was so excited to try this shade as soon as it came in! Then I went to apply it and OMG was it DRY... It hurt to apply and I had to press hard. Then it flaked off? Weird. I put in for a return right away. I have every intention of buying the lipstick separately and hope this was just a fluke.

I love this shade from MAC. Ruby Woo is my personal favorite and I feel i can wear this shade everyday! Loved it.

Straight-up brown

This pairing is a great idea and a real value: a full-sized lip liner and a full-sized lipstick. But the color I ordered, Whirl, is --wow-- just so much darker than pictured. It's brown. The color of mud on a farm. There is no background mauvish pink about it: it is brown.
