Totally tech. A tri-system blend of water, emollients and powder. Looks solid, glides on as a soft, creamy emulsion. Provides a natural matte, powder-perfect finish. Smooth to blend, easy to work with and provides a full range of coverage. Water-cooled, refreshes and hydrates skin. Light diffusing, softens lines, creates a fresh and flawless finish.

Good Foundation

First off I have to admit that I don't understand why this foundation was discontinued. I compared it to the new foundation that is offered by Mac in NC 50 and I didn't notice any true differences in shade and tone and the coverage is good as well ( I don't need a lot of coverage, but noticed no difference in this area). Ultimately, it is another good option for those seeking foundation. For this I'm grateful to Mac for offering the product for a fantastic price (always helps to have backups) .

I too am so disappointed Studio Tech NW25 has been discontinued. It was the perfect foundation for me. I'm still in search for something similar and there is just nothing that compares to this foundation. Please bring in back! ❣️

So disappointed that it is has been discontinued!

I have been using it for years and I love it. It is so hard to find a texture and a shade you like and a foundation is so important in your beauty regimen ! Since I could not find my shade NC 35 on line I went to a Mac Store. Not only they didnt know about the discontinuation but they couldnt believe it as they told it was one of their best sellers? They were really nice and were able to find 4 boxes in different stores that they had shipped to me but once I will be done I guess I will have to shop for an equivalent in other brands :( So sad!

Really Mac.

So basically my overall experience with this foundation is I am in love with it. BEST FOUNDATION MAC OFFERED. key word. OFFERED. unfortunately it will be discontinued because "Many factors are considered when a product is discontinued. We don't take the task lightly. We hope you'll take a look at Studio Fix Soft Matte Foundation Stick for a great alternative" - M·A·C Artist Response. Mac..No. the foundation stick is not a great alternative. You know what could've been like a good change. The packaging. Make the top clear so we can see the shade. Add the name of the product over the top as well. More compact and slick like make a square packaging. Somehow easily storable and less old lady looking traditional packaging. Like re brand it. But instead y'all choose the extreme. I personally don't want a matte finish even though i have hormonal oily skin. I want a natural finish bc i know how my skin works and this foundation gave me longevity and comfortable wear w. Oh didn't break me out either (that is subtle shade to the studio fix fluid SPF15). Not everyone has oily skin. The products y'all are appearing to only offer seems to be mainly for matte with a wide range. I am a woman of color and i can't pick my side out of the last 3 or 4 none matte foundations y'all offer. This was honestly the wrong move. The brand is not the same anymore. It's not fun shopping at Mac. I don't feel like i used to when i was teenage girl buying my lipstick and eyeshadow. Purchasing my first wrong shade of foundation lol. The brand back then had life, fun collaborations, and gave everyone that shot of confidence. Now it's like oh another launch of nothing spectacular. Another discounted product. Another matte finish. Don't hit me with the generic message either. Print this review and put it in boardroom. Make it visible to y'all eyes and say how can we improve our customers experience so we don't get another review like this again. Then say April fools we just re branding the studio tech

The Best!

Purchased Studio Tech NC35 compact foundation with special price during the holiday promotion. Finally found the best foundation I really like. Glides on easily with full coverage. I've tried many brand names but this is the best. Looks more like natural skin with full coverage.

I have been wearing Studio Tech since 1995 and have recently learned it has been discontinued. This is very disappointing as I have sensitive skin and I am also allergic to SPF. This is the only foundation that works with my skin and completion. It is unfortunate MAC has decided to discontinue this product for such a large customer following and base. I can no longer support this brand and know many women who will follow.
