I didn't read the comments before I purchased and I wish I did. It looks nice on but it definitely gives you raccoon eyes due to it smearing and getting under your eyes. I am very disappointed. You can see how it smeared in my photo attached to my review.

My absolute favorite mascara! Yes, you need makeup remover to get it off but it is worth how well it stays on and holds up your curl! Ive yet to find a better mascara.

I love the way my eyelashes look with this mascara, but I agree with other reviewers, it smudges and leaves marks on my eyelids. What's worse, it then doesn't come off when I was my face. I have to scrub my eyes to get it off which makes me look terrible and tired. It feels like it takes days to get it all off. Waterproof mascara is overrated and not needed if you ask me. Other mascaras stay on just fine and still wash off at night. If they could fix those two problems it would be a great mascara.

It leaves marks on the eyes constantly. It's not the fault of the eyeshadows, it smudges even on MAC eyeshadows. You don't have to touch the water, it melts on you when you are dry. Worse that some cheap mascara. Total disappointment.

I do not recommed. This mascara is listed as "waterproof," but it's definitely not. It even easily smears/smudges. Goes on clumpy. Total disappointment.

I was trying to reorder the great MAC False Lashes Waterproof Mascara that I'd purchased several times before. Alas, it has been discontinued. Called customer service to ask them to recommend an alternative. She recommended this, but it is not the same at all! What I like about MAC Cosmetics is the formulas do not cause any difficulty with my contact lenses. That is true with this mascara. But it's extremely clumpy, makes my lashes stick together like teeth in a wide-toothed comb. It's early impossible to remove with my usual facial cleanser, and leaves me with horrible raccoon eyes the next day. Literally stays on my skin and lashes for days. I'm so disappointed. And I bought 2! Please bring back the False Lashes Waterproof Mascara!

Thick and clumpy mascara leaves eye lashes stuck together with large black flakes at end. Would NOT recommend.

This is the best mascara ever! Super water proof and sweat proof. Extremely long wearing. Keeps shape even after getting wet (others don't). It lifts my eye lashes so nicely. It layers wonderfully. And it makes my eye lashes look amazing! The only thing that's annoying is it tends to clump after a few months.
