Beautiful but came damaged

I couldn’t wait to get home and open my first MacKenzie-Child’s kitchen piece but unfortunately disappointed. The piece is lovely and the way it was packaged was good, however after hand wiping it and so eager to already put my utensils in it I noticed the rim was very scratched up :(. Not just one spot, but all around. As well as some scratches on the front. Unsure if that’s how the rim should be? Deeply disappointed because it’s a stunning piece, unsure if they are able to do anything for me with this because I love the piece. If it’s possible to exchange for a new one?

Mackenzie Childs Mocha Check Utensil Holder

Do not order this item from Macy’s. Upon arrival, the delicate item was placed in a shipping box with a piece of paper, it was not wrapped in bubble wrap or any protective shipping material. The utensil holder arrived damaged. Such a disappointment and hassle.
