Nostalgic

The size meets my needs and it seems to be durable. I’ve carried it for three days. It’s a stylish piece of nostalgia. When my husband saw me with it, he thought fondly of shopping at Marshall Fields with his mom on family trips to Chicago. For me, the store didn’t operate in my region. The reason for the 4-star rating is the smell that emanated when first opened. It definitely needs to air a few days before use.

Much better than expected

There’s so much nostalgia attached to this. I initially wanted to buy it for myself, but bought it for my mother instead because she raised me on Marshall Fields. When she opened it, you would’ve thought she had won the lottery. She immediately to get to dinner with her because she wanted to carry the bag. It probably wasn’t a dinner appropriate, but it was early afternoon. She got so many compliments in the restaurant from true Chicagoans. The quality was great. I would definitely buy it again.

Tacky looking plastic bag.

Tacky looking plastic bag. Unflexible material. Strange size. I wanted to like, but didn’t. Macys needs to honor its brands with a much bette product. Returned.

Nice tote

Very cute tote. It is a bit stiff but roomy. This was bought as a gift. It does not have the ability to close on top, but is a plastic/vinyl so the outside will be not get damp in the rain, but water could get inside since it does not close.
