Slightly different color
It is still a pretty looking shoe, but it is not the browner tone that I see in the photo. It is like a shade between grey and brown (which yes is taupe) so the king of it is correct (but the photo shows a more brown tone, like a cowboy or rustic color). Other than that, the heel of the foot is comfortable. I may find a thin pad/liner to put in the shoe because where the feet and toes go isn't as soft. But I admit I expected a lot because of all the stellar reviews. So take my own input with grain of salt. I might keep them anyways, despite color being slightly different than in the photo, and despite them not being as comfortable as others wrote about - because they are very pretty. : ) I would add a photo for you if I could

The most comfortable heels/boots I've ever worn.
If you're thinking of purchasing, YOU SHOULD. These are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn.. I can walk/dance for hours in them. I had purchased the black and I loved them so much I purchased the nude as well (which btw are so beautiful! I prefer them over the black). These are so cute and comfortable.
Very Comfortable
Most comfortable booties I’ve ever owned. They are very easy to walk in, true to size and look amazingly gorgeous in person. I was hesitant at first, since to me, they look weird on the Macy’s picture. The shape of the boot looks weird and looks very pointy in the picture. To my surprise they look way better in person. My daughter tells me they remind her of Morticia Addams or Mama Imelda from the Disney movie Coco. I am very pleased and have already gotten compliments and only worn once since I got them last week.
I love the comfort. It’s a boot I can dance in.

Nice, stylish and can be dressed up or down. I love the chunky heel and the side zip for easy slip on.

I love this boots; the way they look are so fashionable. Unfortunately size up because they run small. I wish I could had size up because they did not have my size later.
