I needed a winter-season comforter, but unfortunately I received an all-season comforter instead. The product was advertised as a heavy winter goose comforter, but it does not provide enough warmth. The outer material is polyester, not cotton, and there was no product information visible on the vacuum-sealed packaging, so I couldn’t properly check the details before opening it.

Smells like chicken. I think that says it all. It had a bad oder. Lots of quills in the stuffing. Unfortunately I had to return it.

Twin size comforter I like it because its light and provides warmth. however, i keep seeing feathers floating in my room.

Comforter is very warm and lofty, but includes many larger feathers with rigid, sharp rachises -- the central feather "stem" -- that poke and stab vs. the smaller, softer down feathers. This is advertised as a feather and down comforter, but I'm surprised how large and sharp the feathers are and how inconsistent this comforter is to similar purchases. I'm a bit baffled, but am hoping these large spines soften over continued use and crunching.

Madison Heavy goose down comforter
comforter arrived in tack. and it was heavy. After opeing the box, I tried to open he zipoper plastic bag and was unabe. I rated it a 3 star which may not be applicable as I did not get to pull the comforter our of the open zipper bag. It just would not come out and I didnt want to cut it and then not be able to return it.

Like others stated, the quality is very subpar and not soft or lofty at all. It’s clear the third party seller isn't transparent in the listing, the materials are cheaper than they appear. Non cotton cover and pokey feathers.
