Had such promise!!
The picture was absolutely gorgeous but what I received was nothing like pictured. The comforter was NOT white but gray background. The purple Euro shams weren’t really purple nor the bedskirt but more, well I can’t describe the color but needless to say not purple. I returned it and even the salespeople at Macy’s couldn’t believe how off it was with the picture. This is why I hate shopping online and I am a huge Madison Park fan

Not the best quality
I should have listened to the previous reviews. I got the 8 PC Queen set on a really good sale so I'll keep it but disappointed in Macy's for selling such poor quality.

TERRIBLE!
DO NOT PURCHASE! This is the worst set I have ever purchased. If I could give it zero stars, I would have. The fabric is not soft. This is not a California king. It's the size of a regular king. The pillows are not fluffy and look flat. I followed the directions on how to fluff them and they still look terrible. The pillows are odd sizes. This is nothing like the description. I tried to return this set at Macy's. I was told because I had washed it, I could not return it. So disappointing. Save yourself time and don't buy this set.

Beautiful duvet cover
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this duvet on my bed for a few months now and it has held up very well. It has been washed a few times and it looks as good as the day we got it. I love the colors of the flower design, gorgeous grey with shades of purple. The center of the flowers is very nearly blue. It is comfortable to sleep with and absolutely beautiful.

Nice but not what I was expecting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture showed online for this comforter set is what really grabbed my attention. I love the color purple as well as sakura/cherry blossoms. Pictures online do say that depending on changes of light the set will look different with examples. However even showing what the set would look like in warm light vs cool light, etc.. Isn't the issue. In all the pictures online the background of the pillows and sheets is A LOT lighter than it actually is. For example, the online pictures show that the throw pillow that has the flowers on it, is very close in color to the background of the sheets. Which is NOT the case. The background is A LOT darker than shown in pictures as well as a lot darker than the throw pillow. The background (lined diamond shape that is behind the sakura blossoms) is a lot darker and a lot more bold and noticeable in person which to me, takes away from the sakura blossoms. However, I do still think its pretty, just wish it were more like in the photos. I also love how they feel and how it comes with everything needed.

Beyond expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t believe how peaceful I sleep now that I got this set, I never want to get out of the bed in the morning. This set is just the right color, comfiness, and texture. It’s not scratchy at all I would highly recommend giving this a try.
