Wanted to love this faux fur blanket

The fur was very nice and felt great, however, the smell was just awful. I couldn't even get close to it without feeling sick.

We are pleased to know that you found the faux fur soft and luxurious; however, we sincerely regret that the odor was unpleasant and made the product difficult to enjoy. Faux fur items can occasionally carry a manufacturing-related scent that is more noticeable prior to the first wash. To help resolve this, we recommend airing the comforter in a well-ventilated space for a day or two and, if needed, lightly misting it with a fabric-safe deodorizer. If the odor persists, a gentle cold-water wash or professional cleaning may help eliminate it.

This is the softest fur like comforter I ever had. It feels like you are sleeping on a furry animal! I sleep on top of it instead of underneath it! My animals love sleeping on it, also. It’s a medium weight that keeps you warm. I love this comforter and so will you!
