Was canceled and I was not informed

Can I give a zero because Macy's canceled my order with no notice? Can't tell you about the dress because I never received it. I ordered it in the Beet Red as a Christmas gift. Waited and waited. When I checked the Macy's site I saw it was canceled. When I called they said it was because they ran out. I asked if I could have the blue one for the same price. Nope! The best they could do was offer the same discounted price that everyone was entitled to at that time with the FRIEND code. So sad to see Macy's drop to this level.
