I am a male massage therapist that doesn’t want his Dad Bod hitting the client’s feet, head, or other body parts while working around the table. I purchased the Ultra-Firm Control Waist Cincher Shapewear (black) actually on a promotional sale and was hoping for a little help with the extra pounds. I was actually very surprised at the slimming effect it had. It was like sucking your stomach in all the time when you aren’t. Was it comfortable? Absolutely! Yes there’s some constriction and you know it’s there, but barely. It’s way more comfortable than I thought it would be. I haven’t worn it all day yet, but no reason I couldn’t. And it wasn’t at all visible under my shirt. My size had me right on the border of a medium and a large, and I opted for the snugger fit the medium would likely offer. I chose correctly. In closing; it does its job, and it does it well. Men will likely not stumble upon this item or review on their own. So please ladies - share this review if you know a gentleman that is complaining about a few extra pounds while getting dressed for a high school reunion or other function.

The waist trainer is extremely uncomfortable. I purchased twice thinking I purchased the first one too small, however, the same results-the waist trainer wires pinched my right side making it impossible to wear and leaving bruising.

My mother-of-the-groom dress was tight around the midriff. This garment smoothed the dress out nicely.

Love how it slims my waste and helps accentuate my figure. Easier than I expected to pull on and off. I'm 145#, 30" waste and got a small. Slightly tight, as I wanted, and comfortable enough to wear all day. Works great with any outfit.

I am short waisted, so this didn't work very well for me, it rolled so it was VERY uncomfortable. I gave it to my daughter who is much longer waisted than I am, but it rolled on her as well. This was a waist *pun intended* of money!

Slimming

I bought this to replace my Flexees by Maidenform shaper. Side by side they are exactly the same despite name change. I have a medium & wear it a handful of times a year for the last 8yrs. I have lost some weight & it still smooths me but wanted a little more shaping. I purchased the small. Unfortunately it is the same size & width as my stretched out, old medium. They do not make an extra small so I guess I will look elsewhere. Am giving 1 star for the change in sizing. Vanity sizing by brands is out of control these days! I am NOT an extra small. I am barely a small! As a general review of the medium size under the prior name & it’s use… I have LOVED it & recommended it to everyone. Much MUCH better product than most shapers because of the boning in it. Much firmer shaping too. It stays up & doesn’t roll & is comfortable to wear all day. If you’re going to purchase this version DEFINITELY size down.

Doesn’t take 2 people or dislocating your hip to get it on. If wearing with leggings or a slick material slacks, wear on outside with long top as they tend to slide down. Great with dresses for smooth appearance. Sized a little small, I wear a medium but bought a large.
