    • To find your ideal shade, swatch foundation on skin and allow it to dry
    • Prep skin with a moisturizer or preferred Step 1 Primer before applying foundation

    • For medium coverage, apply one pump to the back of the hand or directly onto a brush; start applying in the middle of the face, then blend and stretch the foundation outward until desired coverage is achieved
    • For extra coverage, apply one pump to the back of the hand and apply with a damp sponge; lightly tap and stretch foundation onto the face, adding coverage where necessary

Terrible new formula

After using the matte velvet foundation for over 10 years, very disappointed in this new formula. The shade that compared to my old shade is so far off and foundation is very watery. Does not cover well at all.

Completely wrong online color match

Purchased online using the color match system listing the brand and color of my current foundation. What I received was very dark, orangey I looked like I had Oompa Loompa face paint on. Lesson learned when purchasing a new brand of foundation, get your color match in person

Poor replacement for the Ultra HD Foundation.

Sadly, this product does not come close to the Ultra HD. I do not understand discontinuing a great product. This foundation has at least 50% less coverage, does not pass the all day wear test and after trying four shades still no shade match. I am sure it's fine for some people but you've lost me as a customer.

This is a buildable foundation! If you would prefer more coverage, try another application once the first has dried down.

Pls bring back the old formula

Cakey and oxidizes…the new shades don’t match and the formula is not at all like the ultra HD one which I used for 10 years.Pls bring back the old formula and shades…!

Since this formula can dry down darker than the original shade, we recommend choosing a color 1-2 shades lighter.

I use it EVERYDAY

I love this foundation ive never had such a correct shade match. It is super versatile from everyday to night out to photoshoot glam. Find out your correct undertone as well! Can be glowy or matte depending on primer and what you set it with. I do suggest a gripping primer matte or glowy whichever you prefer bc it can become slippery if the enviroment is too hot.
