Runs small

I really wanted these shoes because they looked nice. Other reviews had shown that they ran small so I purchased one size bigger as they did not come in half sizes. But when I received them and wore them, they had gaping spaces on both sides of my feet, so I returned them and purchased my actual size. Unfortunately those didn't fit either because they were so tight I could barely stand in them for 2 seconds. Returned them as well.
