The size 8 fit perfectly;5'3 120 lbs.. the sytle is a little loose.nearly half wool. it doesnt itch or feel stiff..sorry i didn't get the black..great addition to my wardrobe

Meh

This coat was pretty, but shapeless. There was too much material in the body/back; I felt like I was wearing a sack. Also a bit itchy.

Fabulous End-of-Season Buy!!!

Recently purchased this coat (size 14, Dark Camel) at fabulous sale price & am very pleased! I live in a cold climate near the Canadian border, but since menopause, I find it difficult to tolerate down/heavy coats.This boucle wool fabric has a tight weave (blocks wind) so is a perfect compromise, especially when I layer thin merino wool sweater/turtleneck underneath. Coat has clean lines, but nice details--the angled slash pockets have a wide trim finish and collar is notched & can easily be turned up to keep out wind/cold. Length is perfect--I'm 5.5 1/2 and it hits just above my knees. Dark camel coat has matching camel lining, small ribbon loop at neck for peg/hook hanging, AND a bonus for women's clothing: an inside pocket on left side near the waist (phone-stow)! Other reviewers were correct...this runs a bit roomy--at 5.5 1/2 & a fit 170 lbs, this is comfortable/roomy but not sloppy, & will allow heavier layers, if desired. Also, I have long arms & sleeve length is generous.
