A Keeper Rain Coat

Used for walking trails in the rain. Love the longer length when sitting on a wet log.

Please make wider shoulders and stowaway hood !

Still waiting for Marmot to make jackets with wider shoulders for women. They're all made for women with narrow shoulders, and many of us "outdoorsy" women just aren't like that. The collar was super stiff and tough on the face. Hood was awkward. Too complicated to quickly get cinched on and back off. Would love this jacket if it fit in the shoulders, and had a stowaway hood and actual collar.

Versatile!

I love this Marmot jacket! Marmot always fits me great. I like the longer length of the Essential jacket, it gives more weather protection, but is still versatile. Also, the fit is such that I can comfortably wear different layers and not feel bulky.

Women’s essential jacket

It’s a great fit, contours the body well but not tight. I could do without the velcro. I’m 61” and weigh 100-105 pounds so the XS was a good choice for me. I get cold easily so I like to wear extra sweater or jacket under the raincoat.

High quality and fashionable fit jacket!

The fit is great, loose enough to fit a fleece but still shapely enough to be fashionable. The Gortex is great quality and feels expensive. The hood also fits well so it doesn’t blow off in the wind.
